Minnesota State House 37B: Eastern Apple Valley and Rosemount

Neighbor,

As a long-time resident of the Rosemount and Apple Valley Area, I value the needs and concerns of this community. I grew up in Apple Valley and graduated from Apple Valley High School.  My wife Brenda and I have chosen to raise a family in Rosemount. I continue to work to improve the quality of life for the citizens of this area through my leadership on the Rosemount City Council and Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce, and on numerous local community projects.  As a small business owner of an insurance agency, I understand the local economic and social issues that face the community on a daily basis.

I believe in transcending party lines in order to find the best solutions for our community and the state of Minnesota. When Representative Dennis Ozment announced his retirement in February, I felt called to replicate the same commitment, leadership, and moderate approach that allowed Dennis to serve this community. My work in the state house would let me use my experience and desire to serve the community to make a positive difference in the lives of the citizens of this area.
